Fishing for grayling with the queen of fly making
It is Midsummer Eve, early in July. Some 12 miles north of Elverum ( a city 75miles north of capitol Oslo), we exit the forestry road to “Borregårdsvelta”. We park at the fine river bank plain, exactly on the border between Åmot and Elverum. There is no wind. Cloudy. The gnats are eager. Huge graylings are kissing the flat metal glossy river surface.
